Tower Songs Documentary
A one-hour radio documentary on the creation of ‘A New Day’, an original piece for orchestra and choir has won an award at the 2009 PPI radio awards on the 2nd of October. The radio programme, ‘Tower Songs’, which was the winner in the ‘Music Special’ category was produced by Helen Shaw and Athena Media.
'A New Day' was commissioned by Tower Songs/ CityArts and Ballymun Music Project, composed by Daragh O Toole and realised with the help of The Arts Council, RTE, Dublin City Council, DIT and Axis.
